Let's Get It Right.

We are a growing San Marco neighborhood group concerned about the proposed 4-story, 143 unit apartment complex and 4-level parking garage on the current South Jacksonville Presbyterian Church property.
We are for development
, but oppose the current apartment complex proposal due to it being too big, too dense, too tall, and inappropriate in this single-family residential neighborhood.
Stay informed on how you can help us stand against changing the existing church zoning into a PUD. which is currently in the process.
This apartment complex will affect daily San Marco traffic, neighborhood cut-through traffic, visuals from the Square (it will be the largest building in the entire San Marco district), property values, security, light pollution, and potentially the southern entry into San Marco, especially if South Jax Presbyterian Church is removed in the future.

This doesn't take into account the East San Marco development just next door. East San Marco, slated to start the Spring of 2020, will include a 40,000 SqFt. Publix, restaurants, and retail shops.
